Project Overview
Dolbear is a user-friendly tech e-commerce platform. Their project included designing and developing the full-stack systems, integrating various third-party services, and ensuring the platform’s responsiveness and scalability. Key features included initial project analysis, system design, server setup, homepage design, e-commerce page development, admin panel creation, user authentication, inventory management, payment gateway integration, and more.
The Problems
Dolbear encountered several problems, starting with a complex database structure that could not handle large volumes of transactions. They had nonfunctional UI/UX designs that could not integrate 3rd party API & software. Overall, there was a lack of higher levels of optimizations, which was needed to solve besides implementing robust security.
The Challenges
We needed to address the following requirements to transform Dolbear into a successful e-commerce platform: Creating an efficient and scalable database architecture. Developing a visually appealing and intuitive UI/UX design. Building backend systems for admin, user management, inventory, etc. Incorporating APIs for delivery, payment gateways, and social logins. Ensuring the platform works seamlessly on mobile. Conducting deep QA testing for a bug-free experience.
Workflow Scenario
VISER X Software Development Department eagerly assembled a team of developers to craft an international standard eCommerce store for Dolbear. The project manager assigned individual tasks to the frontend web developer, backend developer, UI/UX designer, and QA tester. The developer panel worked seamlessly and solved each problem with their year-long experience.
